Cora Nash The Family of Faith

Cora Nash

It is my honor and privilege to serve you as your Preschool Director since 2012. I have been an active member at The Family of Faith since 1997. Being here is God’s calling on my life. I have been able to serve in all roles here at preschool and  have given it all for His glory  to shine through our school. My previous experience includes  work at technology companies such as WorldCom, Fugro and Entelligence.  I am a graduate of Texas A&M class of 1991.  Whoop! I am wife to Rick, and we have been married 25 years.   I am mom to Sofia Swan, 20 and Nathan, 17 and mother in law to Caleb Swan.   Most  important I am a daughter of the King and I love Jesus.  I am so grateful that I get to serve here and look forward to the amazing things God will do in our children’s lives this year.

Questions and Answers

Our goal is to prepare and equip your child for live beyond their preschool years—academically as well as emotionally, physically and spiritually. Every morning we start our day with praise and worship songs and twice a week we meet in the sanctuary for Chapel service. On chapel days, our Pastor celebrates with us and leads us in our Bible lesson.  Parents are always welcome to join us for this special time!   We teach and encourage positive social interactions by teaching and demonstrating fruits of the spirit with a focus on self-control. We know that children learn through play! So we believe in center based play where children can learn and explore through math, science, dramatic play, and art. We know that, equipped with these skills, your child will be set up for success when he/she leaves our school and moves on to kindergarten and beyond.

We believe that Christian nurture and love provides a strong foundation for children to progress in their academic pursuits. We believe that it is essential for children to learn self-management skills in order to thrive in early elementary school. We believe that our social-emotional learning curriculum is well suited to provide the student the love and nurture and the self-management skills she needs to thrive as a person and as a student.
