Peter was born and raised in sunny Southern California. He spent most of his young years in Orange County attending a few different Lutheran elementary schools (as his dad w as an LCMS teacher and prinicipal) and ulimately graduating from Lutheran High School of Orange County. He spent one year in an architecural program before following God’s call to train in youth ministry (Director of Christian Education program) at Concordia University, Irvine, CA. This is where he met his wife, as she was also in the DCE program. After graduating in ’96 with a BS in Religious Studies. He also went on to receive his Masters Degrees from Concordia University, Seward, Nebraska in Family Life Ministry. Peter has served as Jr. & Sr. Youth Minister, Worship Minister, and as a Lutheran High School Theology Teacher. Peter is married to Tara (also on staff here at Family of Faith), they have three girls. Peter loves Taco Bell (in case you are ever looking for a gift idea). His ideal world would be eating a Nachos Supreme (with extra nacho cheese) while watching the Rockets vs. the Lakers.
