And, we encourage you to be familiar with our "Close" communion policy:

The Family of Faith observes what is called close communion -- that is, everyone who desires to receive the precious Body and Blood of Jesus Christ in, with, and under the bread and wine that are served is in agreement with our teachings and practices (as taught by St Paul in his first letter to the Corinthians, chapter 11). Those who commune with us should be:

• baptized in the Christian faith
• instructed and confirmed in the teachings of the Lutheran Church
• mindful of their sins, willing to confess them and receive forgiveness in the name of Christ Jesus
• believing in the real presence of the Body and Blood of Christ in, with, and under the bread and wine of the meal

If you are unsure or in doubt with regard to Holy Communion, please remain seated during Communion distribution.  We invite you to ask our pastor or an elder to visit with you at a later time about our faith, Thank you for respecting our beliefs!
