This year is Pastor Doug's nineteenth year in the ministry. During all of those years, sharing Jesus with young children, youth,and  families has been, and continues to be, the focus of his service. More importantly, Doug is in love with his own family. Doug married Amy (Schelling) of Jackson, Michigan, in 1987. The couple are blessed with two adult children. When he is not involved in his own family, or the Family of Faith, Pastor Doug enjoys visiting museums, attending sporting events, and taking in theatrical productions. Pastor's academic background includes a B.A. in English and Philosophy from Concordia University Chicago (1987) and a M.Div. from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri (1991).
