Children’s Ministry at our Copperfield Site

Here at The Family of Faith we seek to develop ministries for our children that teach them about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, nurture their relationships with each other and with our congregation, and equip their families to walk in their faith journey together.   We do this through Sunday School and Children’s Church, as well as special/seasonal offerings which include the following: VBS, summer camp, Christmas camp, children’s retreats (such as at Camp Lone Star), Family Movie nights, Family Dance nights, Parents Night Out, Easter egg hunt, Trunk-or-Treat, and the Big Splash Bash.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Each summer, our congregation hosts a week of fun Bible learning for children known as Vacation Bible School (VBS). VBS will is offered as part of a Summer Camp program. Preschool children up to fifth grade children are invited to participate.

Children’s Church

Every Sunday. Children's Church is a special time of instruction for children that is offered during the worship service following our Children’s Message. During each worship service, the goal for parents and the congregation is to have children with us in worship for the first 10 minutes of the service. After the first 10 minutes, the children are invited to come forward to the altar area to participate in a Children’s Message provided by the pastor. At the end of the Children's Message, the children are encouraged to attend Children's Church. Children's Church finishes its time of instruction before the end of worship and returns the children to their parents in the sanctuary for the last 5 minutes of the service. This process allows the family to worship together, as well as providing the children with age appropriate instruction.
