The Family of Faith is a place to call ‘home’ for people gathering in Christ, celebrating in worship, reaching out in love, extending God’s forever kingdom.

April 2, 2017, we celebrated the Ground Breaking Service for this new ministry location. We hope to have the new preschool operational by January 2018. Please check our Miramesa Preschool page to keep up to date on the building progress. Services will included infant care, before-and-after school care, preschool, and summer camp.

Copperfield Preschool

For 12 years preschool, before-and -after school care, summer camp, and parents’ night out have been provided. It is our belief that nurturing children is foundational to educating children. We are religiously dedicated to caring for children at The Family of Faith.

Welcome to the family

Thank you for your interest in our ministry. We believe that God has prepared a blessing for you and your family here at The Family of Faith Lutheran Church.

The Family of Faith Lutheran Church has served Northwest Houston since 1991. Since 2005 The Family of Faith has also offered preschool and child care services. The original facilities were limited to the brick building that houses the sanctuary, as well as some offices class rooms. In the early 2000s the Family Life Center was added. It included more classrooms, a gym, and an entire second floor dedicated to youth. On April 2, 2017, we gathered to celebrate the Ground Breaking Service for our new property on 9230 Fry Road, Cypress, Texas 77433. Meet the Staff

Our Vision

We have a vision for our community: to be a please to call home for everyone.

Our Mission

We have a mission for our fellowship of believers: The Family of Faith is a place to call home for people gathering in Christ, celebrating in worship, reaching out in love, and extending God’s forever kingdom.

Our Purpose

We have a purpose for our ministry: to bring people to Jesus and membership in his family, develop them to Christ-like maturity, and equip them for their ministry in the church, and their life mission in the world, in order to magnify God’s name.

Core Strategies

Our strategies are as easy as 1, 2, 3, 4:
One: We believe the Lord has called us to serve families as one united church family.

Two: We believe Christ wants his kingdom to grow in two

dimensions: spiritual depth and numerical breadth.

Three: We believe that the Lord wants to reach others through us by engaging our hands (our ability to serve God and others)

in ministry, which in turn will affect our hearts (how we feel about serving God and others), and finally will result in our heads (how we think about God and others) being enlightened by the Gospel.
Four: We believe God wants us to serve four “multis”: a multi-generational, multi-cultural community on multiple sites while serving both women and men.
